World Aids Day commemorated
JUMPAS – It was a great success with good community participation.

The Malvern clinic committee, in conjunction with clinic staff, commemorated World Aids Day at Jumpas informal settlement on December 1.
The purpose of the event was to educate people about the disease.
Malvern clinic chairperson Mike Spadino said people turned out in numbers to support the event.
“It was a great success with good community participation,” he said.
Residents were given pamphlets containing information about HIV/Aids and condoms.
“I am very happy about the turnout of the event.
“The Malvern clinic committee thanks Cotlands for the use of their container on the day of the event,” said Spadino.
