Katherine Deacon, a Grade Two learner at St Andrew’s School for Girls, was invited by the National Eisteddfod Academy to attend the awards evening recently.

She received an item winner certificate for her Voice Own Choice – Solo Grade Two for the Johannesburg Central, South and East and Gauteng South Region.
She was also the item winner for her Piano Elementary Level – Instrumental – Solo Grade 2.
