The Malvern Community Forum’s interim committee wishes residents of Malvern and surrounds a blessed and peaceful festive season and a prosperous new year.

Spokesperson for the forum, Mike Spadino, said the organisation would like to create a database of all legal and illegal taverns, shebeens and bottle stores in the area next year.

“We would like to keep tabs on them by checking licences. We will also keep the community updated about projects that will take place next year,” he said.
Spadino shared some safety tips for the festive season.
“Residents must not drink and drive and they must not let their children wander the streets at night. Residents must report any suspicious activities by calling 10111,” he said.
The forum also wants to wish the security and emergency personnel working over the festive season a safe and blessed festive season.
