Birthday celebrations for Busamed

"We look forward to helping the community."

Busamed Modderfontein Private Hospital Orthopaedic and Oncology Centre celebrated its first birthday recently.

The hospital was officially unveiled last year on November 25.

In the past year the hospital has developed and expanded.

It has become home to Africa’s first orthopaedic robotic arm and has added a paediatric intensive care unit to its facilities.

Elsa Benade, hospital manager, said the hospital has done well in the past year.

“As a company Busamed only has room to grow. We look forward to helping the community,” said Elsa.

Chairperson of Busamed group Doctor Diliza Mji shared Elsa’s enthusiasm.

“Every journey starts with the first step. Tonight we are here to celebrate that step.”
