Linda Mgibidi (28) has been sentenced to 25 years’ imprisonment after he was convicted for three crimes reported in 2011.
He was sentenced in November.

Mgibidi was arrested in Edenvale almost seven years ago on charges of attempted robbery and robbery with aggravated circumstances.
Following his arrest he was released on bail.
“Once arrested we circulated Mgibidi’s fingerprints,” Olckers said. “Limpopo SAPS contacted us and asked for our assistance in his re-arrest.”
Mgibidi was linked to a residential robbery in Limpopo which had taken place shortly before the crimes he committed in Edenvale.
His fingerprints were found at the scene of the Limpopo property.

Mgibidi was arrested for a second time in 2011 in Alexandra where he was living.
Since his re-arrest, he has remained in police custody.
Olckers said Mgibidi was found guilty of the Edenvale charges and pleaded guilty to the Limpopo crime.
Olckers congratulated Constable Monareng and all the other officers involved in the case for their hard work.
