Yeoville police thank residents for co-operation
Operation Nomakanjani (‘No Matter What’) was spearheaded by Herman Mashaba.
The Yeoville SAPS engaged in several operations during the holiday season, including the Operation Nomakanjani (‘No Matter What’) crackdown which was spearheaded by City of Johannesburg mayor Clr Herman Mashaba.

Yeoville SAPS spokesperson Captain Sifiso Mabizela said the station teamed up with the JMPD, City of Joburg, Emergency Management Services and Department of Home Affairs during the operations.

“Two hundred and ninety suspects were arrested for crimes ranging from undocumented persons, drinking in public, illegal electricity connections, business robbery and murder.”
“We would like to send our gratitude to residents of Yeoville and surrounds for their co-operation,” he said.
