St Benedict’s College’s very first Bennies Mile took place on January 21 at Victoria Lake Club in Germiston.

The family fun and swim day was enjoyed by young and old with some great results achieved by top swimmers.

The women’s race attracted over 60 swimmers and the top five swimmers were Ashleigh Munks (25:02), Sydney Munks (25:02), J Syemour Smith (25:03), Courtney Laros (25:31) and Savannah Sheerin (27:01).
The men’s race attracted more than 150 swimmers and the top five swimmers were Hein van Tonder (21:25), Riccardo Di Domenico (21:28), Kyle Letley (21:34), Andrew Smith (23:52) and Matthew-Ethan Falconer (24:19).
