Lize-Mari de Beer and Jenna Pearse, two Grade 12 learners at St Andrew’s School for Girls successfully completed the E7 girls/women 14 to 30 category at the aQuelle Midmar Mile 2018.

They crossed the finish line together in 23:17 on February 12.
Lize-Mari finished 32nd overall out of 1 402 swimmers (male and female), 27th out of 1 285 swimmers in her age group and 26th out of 1 159 swimmers in her category.
Jenna finished 33rd overall out of 1 402 swimmers (male and female), 28th out of 1 285 swimmers in her age group and 27th out of 1 159 swimmers in her category.
