One killed, one injured after bakkie rolls

According to ER24, one person was killed and another sustained moderate injuries after a bakkie rolled on Meadow Road in Modderfontein on February 24.

“At approximately 10.30pm, paramedics were called to the scene,” said ER24 spokesperson Annine Siddall.

Siddall said the injured man, believed to be 29 years old, was treated and transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.

“A man, believed to be 26 years old, was declared dead by other emergency services at the scene. The fire department and Gauteng traffic police were on scene for further investigations,” Siddall said.
