IMPORTANT FOR PARENTS – Online schools registrations open

Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi assured parents that the online system would be faster and provide more options for parents in their applications for children.

The Gauteng public schools online schools registrations for the 2019 academic year opened this morning.

According to Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi, the system had improved.

He also assured parents that the online system would be faster and provide more options for parents applying for their children.

A step-by-step guide to register Gr 1 and 8 learners online

MEC Lesufi also said each school pupil needed to be given their own catchment area.

The system would allow for parents to apply for a school of their choice or one closer to their home or work.

Applications also include specific technical fields.
