Sunday fun at Horwood’s Farm Family Market

The Jeppe Pipe Band put in a last appearance at Horwood’s Farm Family Market before taking off for Switzerland to take part in the Basel Tattoo.

The Horwood’s Farm Family Market in Edenvale brought hordes of community members out to enjoy the family fun on July 1.

Edenvale SPCA was in attendance.

They were the third school to be invited to this prestigious event.

Michelle Van Scheltma, marketing organiser, said about 9 000 people attended the Horwood’s Farm Family Market.

She also mentioned that 200 vendors were present.

The Jeppe Pipe Band entertained the locals with a performance.

“SOS Protection Services was amazing as they supported the event at no cost,” said Michelle.

Ward Clr 18 Heather Hart also lent a helping hand getting the market up and running.

“She is amazing and so helpful in saving the park,” said Michelle.

The next Horwood’s Farm Family Market will be on August 5.
