The visit was aimed at educating learners and teachers about recycling paper.

The learners were each given a Little Ronnie Bag with a Little Ronnie Letter to take home.

The bag is to motivate parents and learners to bring paper every week to fill the Ronnie Bank.

A Baby Steps Early Learning Centre learner enjoys the demonstration.

Mpact representative Adele Thompson said the visit is to conserve the environment and to get paper before it goes to the rubbish bins.

“We cannot recycle the paper once it is dirty,” said Thompson.

She said she wants learners to bring the paper to school.

Thompson urged residents to drop off paper at the Ronnie Bank on Van Buuren Road.
