Give back to Little Eden this spring
“Approximately eight per cent of the society’s income is derived from the store.”

With the arrival of spring, Little Eden Society has appealed to the community to keep it in mind when doing spring cleaning.
The society’s second-hand shop is in urgent need of gently used and second-hand items.

Nichollette Muthige, public relations and communications officer said the shop is a treasure box for bargain hunters.
Some of the items it sells include clothing, furniture, books and toys.

“Lately these items, especially clothes, have become scarce and the organisation is turning to the community for support,” said Nichollette.
“Approximately eight per cent of the society’s income is derived from the store.”
The funds raised contribute to the running costs of the society which cares for 300 children and adults with a profound intellectual disability.
“The majority of our residents were abandoned, some come from indigent families who are unable to support them financially,” said Nichollette.
Contact the society’s reception on 011 609 7246 to arrange a collection.
Items can be dropped off at 79 Wagenaar Road in Edenglen.
