“A portion of the funds raised will be given to the residents' support fund.”
Arbor Village raised over R70 000 when the retirement village held its annual fête.
It was held on October 27 at the Bedfordview retirement home.

Manager of the village, Denise Stanton said the fête went very well.
She said over 30 stalls were at the market while entertainment was provided by Jeppe High School for Boy’s pipe band and the Salvation Army.

“A portion of the funds raised will be given to the residents’ support fund,” said Denise.

She said the fund was established several years ago with the purpose of assisting residents in need of financial assistance.
“Times are tough so the home tries to help out where it can.”

Denise said the remaining money will be used for maintenance and future projects at the village.
