KRRA to discuss patrolling initiative

Information about PPS will be shared in depth at the public meeting on November 17 at 10am at Rhodes Park Community Centre.

A public meeting will be held regarding the Patrolling Public Spaces (PPS), a Kensington Residents and Ratepayers Association (KRRA) initiative launched in 2015.

“The intention behind PPS is to increase patrolling visibility in public spaces, and in so doing, increase the chance of catching criminals who prey on our suburb. We need to drive them out of Kensington and can only succeed through ensuring PPS continues to grow,” said Kgomotso Modise from KRRA.

KRRA needs the support of PPS so they can increase its coverage and get more vehicles patrolling public spaces. No Crime secured smart cameras to be strategically installed in Kensington over the next few weeks. The details of how they are going to add value to the PPS initiative will be discussed at the meeting.
