Learners from St Andrew’s School For Girls have achieved a 100% pass rate for the year 2018.
Emily Macgregor and Vivian Yan have received nine distinctions, while Georgia Carrington, Kathleen Charlton, Alexandra De Sousa, Sharessa Naidoo, Cara Nel, Nicole Rivett and Michelle Stevens have all received eight distinctions.

Stefania Aldrighetti, Bongiwe Bhebhe-Mkandla, Jiaming Li, Simone Luis, Luandri van Vuuren have received seven distinctions.

Six distinctions went to Courtney Greve, Jenna Pyle, Matshepo Tshabalala and Sarah van den Barselaar.

Imameleng Leeuw, Ncumisa Madolo, Khmera Magan, Daisy Mugadza and Luba Siwawa-Ndai have received five distinctions.

This is the 30th year in succession that St Andrew’s matric class has achieved a 100% pass rate.

Ninety-six per cent of the learners have received university exemption with a total of 243 subject A’s.
There was an average of 2.9 subject A’s per student.

Thirty-eight per cent of all results were above 80% and 72% of subjects had averages greater than 70%.
Ninety per cent of all results were above 60% with 74% of all learners achieving a subject A.

An average result of 74.5% was achieved for 2019.

The 20 subjects offered at St Andrew’s School For Girls were on or above the IEB average.

Fifteen learners’ results were in the top 1 % in the relevant subjects.
