Three-hour koppie hike to take place

A three-koppie group hike of up to 8km or three hours through the Melville Koppies will be held on January 27.

The hike will set off at exactly 8.30am.

Those wanting to attend the event are asked to park, meet, and pay in the upper parking area at Marks Park situated on Judith Road in Emmarentia.

Hikers must be fit with good balance as paths are rocky and steep.

Children must be over six years old and no dogs are permitted on the trails.

Fees for the hike are R60 for adults and R40 for children and all funds raised are used to maintain the koppies.
