A decade of happiness shared at Thornhill Garden Club
Resident Wendy Hunt has been instrumental in the opening of the club.
Members of the Thornhill Manor Garden Club gathered on January 23 to celebrate the club’s first decade and the happy memories they shared.

Over the years, she has arranged several interesting guest speakers, outing, trips to botanical gardens and raffles to raise funds.

She has been involved in running the club’s stall at the Rand Aid retirement village’s annual fête.

Wendy took a break from the club for a couple of years due to ill health.
While Wendy was away, Jenny Brownson took up her responsibilities until she was well enough to return.

The celebration featured beautiful booklets filled with photos of flowers and thoughtful verses by Vicky Keenan, a resident of the care centre.
The booklets were handed to each member as a keepsake.
