St Andrew’s School for Girls’ Senior School and the teachers took a silent #climatestrike against climate change on March 15.
The school joined the #climatestrike campaign initiated by 16-year-old Swedish political activist Greta Thunberg in her #FridaysForChange campaign to stop global warming and climate change.

The school joined numerous schools across the globe in showing their support of the campaign.
The school is also on Greta’s Global Map of Schools participating in this initiative.

St Andrew’s lead the silent strike around the tea lawns at the school with campaign banners and posters showcasing the learners’ stance on climate change.

There was a live social media broadcast to show politicians and leaders around the world how global warming impacts on the earth.
The school has partnered with Greenpeace Africa on this initiative.
