Modderfontein hosts district matches
The club hall can also be hired for various events such as weddings, parties and corporate events.
Modderfontein’s Bowls Club (MBC) hosted its district matches on March 31.
MBC president Scott Davidson said matches saw a lot of married couple teams which made the game very competitive.
“The matches are ongoing and results will be released after the last match which is in a few week’s time.”
The matches covered two full greens and included a well set up feast with drinks afterwards.
Every Tuesday and Thursday the club has social bowls matches.
The bowls club is open to all community members who would like to join.
