Memorable Order of Tin Hats Dickie Fritz Shell Hole hosts fair to garner support for vets.

South African War Grave Society and Memorable Order of Tin Hats Dickie Fritz Shell Hole hosted a veteran military fair which attracted community, young and old.

Held on June 29 at the shell hole, the fair was held to garner support for veterans and war memorials.

Alexis Ramas, dressed in American uniform, sits in a Willy’s Jeep while Richard Haydon, dressed in a British uniform, stands alongside him.

It had a militaria market, flea market, display of military vintage vehicles, classic cars and military equipment.

Special Forces Lt Col Wynand du Toit and Recce Staff Sgt Johan Raath spoke at the event and signed books for fans.
