WIN: PERLS competition date extended
PERLS, a programme focused on improving children and adults’ reading skills, was created by Kensington resident and author Brian Hough.
The closing date for Bedfordview and Edenvale News’ and Joburg East Express’ Programmed English Reading and Language System competition has been extended to October 9.
PERLS, a programme focused on improving children and adults’ reading skills, was created by Kensington resident and author Brian Hough.
Brian spoke to the NEWS about the programme after reading about Caxton’s #WeRead campaign.
The campaign, which is held in partnership with the SA Book Development Council, was aimed at encouraging South Africans to read more.
It led up to the 10th annual SA Book Week which ended with the SA Book Fair held at Constitutional Hill.
Ten lucky winners stand a chance to win a code to access PERLS.
