Sebenza SAPS opened an inquest docket after the body of a man was found inside his car in Modderfontein earlier today.

“The body of the man was found inside his car with a gunshot wound,” said Sebenza SAPS spokesperson Sharon Tsotsotso.

His car was found on High Road.

“We cannot release the man’s identity as we have not confirmed whether his next of kin have been notified.

“At this stage of the investigation no foul play is suspected. However ddepending on the outcome of the investigation the charge may change,” said Tsotsotso.
