Donation drive receives much-needed support

“The money raised will go towards renovations, animal treatments, education/outreach programmes and the general running costs of the SPCA throughout the year.”

With Edenvale SPCA’s annual Dogs Dinner Fund in full swing, residents and businesses are encouraged to donate funds to the organisation.

“The money raised will go towards renovations, animal treatments, education/outreach programmes and the general running costs of the SPCA throughout the year,” said inspector Jade Nel.

Nel said through the community’ support, the SPCA can continue to fight for the well-being of the animals.

Between October 18 and October 30, the following donations were made.

• D Crabbia – R500.

• In memory of Gypsy – R200.

• Maria – R100.

• Electra, with love – R100.

• Bugzy – R1000.

• Donation/T – R400.

• Talya Brodkin –R200.

• Anonymous – R220.

• Jody, Benji and Coco – R230.

• From Pixel, Misty and Zinger – R1 500.

• Sue Gainsford, from Daisy and Lily – R 1000.

• In lieu of Enzo Rech 60th birthday – R2 000.

• Loly Pasquale Enzo 60th birthday – R500.

• From the Branfields in lobbing memory of John Tingle RIP – R500.

• To our special friends Oliver, Annie – Girl and Tim Tim Elmes – R1 000.

• In memory of Winston, Snuffy, Covenant and Frankie – R355.

Community members can either drop off their donations at the SPCA premises on Bhacus Road, or can donate electronically.

If donations are made via EFT, an email should be sent to the SPCA to notify them of the donation.
