HCL wraps up the year at last meeting
The Households Consumers League had their last meeting on November 13.
The Household Consumers League (HCL) Bedfordview had their last meeting of the year at the Bedfordview Library on November 13.
Member Pamela Coetzee turned 90 years old on November 11, where the league wished her happy birthday, along with giving her a birthday cake.
Effie Antoniou also turned 93 recently and received well wishes from the league.
HCL chairperson Chloe Eilertsen spoke about her recent trip to Clarens and gave the league a talk about the island of Saint Telina.
The league also had a raffle where members could win prizes.
To wrap up the year, HCL will be having a Christmas lunch at Montovani’s at Eastgate on November 27.
