HCL visits Buddhist temple in Bronkhorstspruit

Members of the Household Consumers League (HCL) Bedfordview recently concluded the year’s outings with a visit to the Nan Hua Buddhist Temple in Bronkhorstspruit.
The tour included a visit to its museum, temples and shrines, but was of particular significance as HCL was invited to share lunch with the monks.
Nan Hua, which means flower in the south, is the name of the SA branch for the Humanistic Buddhist Order, Fo Guang Shan.
HCL kicks off the new year with its first meeting on January 8 at the James Sadie Auditorium, Bedfordview Library.
