uBambiswano learners honoured at prize-giving

The award ceremony was followed by eats and refreshments on the Tea Lawns.

The St Andrew’s School for Girls Saturday School programme, uBambiswano, end-of-year prize-giving was held on November 30.

The prize-giving was to honour the achievements of the learners and to give thanks to those involved in the programme.

Annette dos Santos, the out-going head of uBambiswano, received fitting tributes from members of the uBambiswano community.

They expressed their great admiration and appreciation for Annette and the difference she has made in the lives of so many.

Mandy Potgieter hand over the Confident Kids’ Gift of the Gab trophy to Njabulo Suteka for his confidence and skills in public speaking.

The award ceremony was followed by eats and refreshments on the Tea Lawns.

Special guests included members of the board and former chairperson of uBambiswano Alfred Ramosedi.

The Grade Nines perform in honour of the powerful female role models in their lives.

uBambiwano’s corporate sponsors were also present, Natesh Sing from Super Group Dealerships and Teballo Motsweni and Thando Skosana from Standard Bank.
