Take action against cancer

CANSA is offering an early bird special to host an event, please register and order Shavathon products through the Shavathon eShop at www.shavathon.org.za.

The Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa) announced the date for its national 2020 Shavathon.

On February 29, the Shavathon will be live at shopping centres countrywide.

A few venues will be offering events on March 1, and details will be made available on the Shavathon website closer to the time.

Cansa challenged community members to invite 20 people to join them for this year’s Shavathon.

The theme is ‘Hope 2020’ and symbolises each participant giving hope to cancer survivors by showing their solidarity in the fight against cancer as they stencil, spray or shave their hair.

According to Cansa, anyone can host an event.

It is not limited to workplaces, organisations or schools.
