Covid-19: Operations at Edenvale Police Station resume (VIDEO)

"The station is taking all necessary precautions to minimise the risk to the health of its members and the community."

All operations have resumed at Edenvale Police Station after a member tested positive for Covid-19.

Edenvale SAPS Client Service Centre relocated temporarily to the premises of New Day Church on June 9.
The relocation was done to allow for the decontamination of the station and to allow members to continue providing a service to the community.

Earlier today on June 10 the NEWS visited the station. Police officers could be seen checking community members’ temperature and ensuring sanitising protocols.
Gauteng SAPS spokesperson Col Noxolo Kweza said the station has been decontaminated.
