Covid-19: SA recovery rate remains steady at 90%

A further 85 Covid-19 related deaths were reported.

South Africa’s Covid-19 statistics, dated October 21 and released by the Department of Health, shows a 90 per cent recovery rate.

A further 85 Covid-19 related deaths were reported bringing the total number of deaths to 18 741.

An additional 26 537 tests were conducted bringing the total number of tests to 4 607 883.

2 055 new cases were reported bringing the cumulative total to 708 359.

Gauteng remains the hot spot with 31.9 per cent of cases.
