Pageant winner hopes to take on world

With the title of Miss Teen Queen SA 2020 behind her name, 15-year old Edenvale resident Priyal Moodley hopes to one day take the world by storm and represent SA.

With the title of Miss Teen Queen SA 2020 behind her name, 15-year old Edenvale resident Priyal Moodley hopes to one day take the world by storm and represent SA.

The Jeppe High School for Girls learner said this was the first pageant she competed in.

“I felt happy and proud to win. The pageant allowed me to come into my own. It helped me renew my sense of purpose and confidence.”

With the title behind her name, Priyal hopes to start her journey to the international stage where she hopes to represent SA.

“My goal is to use this platform to inspire girls like me to be the best version of themselves,” said Priyal.

“With dedication, perseverance and courage, the future is yours to write.”

Another initiative that is close to Priyal’s heart is the welfare of animals, specifically those that are left homeless with no one to care for them.

Along her journey to represent SA, Priyal hopes to help as many animals as possible.
