ESCS to re-open its doors

The Edenvale Senior Citizen’s Society (ESCS) is set to open its doors again following its shutdown at the advent of the national lockdown.

ESCS committee member Linda Ranwell said Edenvale’s Community Centre, home to the society, was closed since the start of lockdown.

“I’m sure a lot of our members cannot wait to come back and see all their friends again,” said Linda.

The society, which offers lunch every day, offers the services of a library, a second-hand thrift shop and a hair salon.

Activities that members of the society can participate in include darts, table tennis, card games, yoga, gym classes and a choir.

Strict Covid-19 precautions will be taken and a no mask-no entry policy will be in place.
