Festive fun at Edenhaven lunch (Video)
GM of the home Janice Finlay said this year, staff were included in the Christmas lunch as a way of thanking them for the hard work they did through the year.
It was smiles all round as residents and staff from Edenhaven Retirement Village were treated to a Christmas lunch at the village on December 9.
The annual lunch saw the children and grandchildren of the residents volunteer to cook and serve the residents, making the day special for them.

“Instead of the usual separate tables, we decided to join the tables and have two long tables.
“This way, residents could enjoy each others’ company more and speak easier with one another.”
The lunch was enjoyed by all, while entertainment was provided by staff who sang Christmas carols to the residents of the village.
Janice thanked staff members Patricia and Sophie for all their hard work in making the day possible.
She made special mention of resident Jennifer Britton who assisted with the decorations and bringing the day together for everyone.
“Edenhaven is a place where we treat friends like family and family like friends. I would like to thank everyone who assisted in making this day possible and who assisted in getting and guiding us through this year.”
