Brainy Birds brings the scares this Halloween

Community members were able to enjoy themselves as they supported Brainy Birds Parrot Rescue and Rehabilitation and its fund-raising initiative.

On October 30 the NPO hosted its third annual Halloween event for the community to enjoy.

Unlike previous events, this year’s fund-raiser was the first year that saw the NPO include a haunted house in the celebrations.

At this year’s event, attendees had the option of walking routes that included a shorter and less scary route for the children seven years old and younger.
