Captain Nimb heads into retirement
It wasn’t until 2010 that Captain Nimb was moved to the Bedfordview SAPS where he served until his retirement.
Bedfordview SAPS will bid farewell to Capt Carel Nimb at the end of December as he heads into retirement after 39 years in service.

Nimb started his policing career in 1983 stationed at Boksburg North.
In 1995 he was transferred to the human resources department at the Springs Police Station.
He served at the station for six years before joining the Crime Prevention Unit in Germiston in 2001.
It wasn’t until 2010 that Nimb was moved to the Bedfordview SAPS where he served until his retirement.
Nimb plans to travel and hopes to visit family in the Western Cape and North West.
