Edenvale players selected for provincial baseball team

Baseball players from across Gauteng came together at Edenvale Sports Grounds when the u-18 Gauteng baseball trials were held on January 16.

Coach Dean McKinon of Giants and Imps Baseball Club said overall the day went well.

Eight Imp players were selected for the provincial team.

McKinon said three teams were put together to go to the National Baseball Championship in Cape Town.

“The nice thing is we have representation from all over Gauteng Pretoria, Eastrand Johannesburg, as well as 13 players from Alexandra and Palm ridge,” said McKinon.
