Golden days at St George’s Village

The cottages are Cape Dutch style with beautifully maintained gardens and spacious lanes that lend more to a holiday feeling than retirement living.

St George’s residents enjoy a variety of activities and socialising, including bridge parties, a knitting circle, croquet, opera evenings, bingo, card games, snooker, yoga, chair exercises and music-themed afternoons.

The village boasts an exceptional catering team that goes all out to provide a variety of meals.

The team also caters for themed dinners and private functions.

Village residents are all enthusiastically waiting for the coffee shop, which will open in the future.

This will add a different dimension to the entertainment and socialising on offer in the village.

The care centre is highly focused on care and the individual needs of each resident.

Residents at St George’s are encouraged to see the centre as their home.

The care manager has significant experience in caring for the elderly.

More recently, the village launched a brand-new offering.

A newly refurbished and beautifully furnished respite room for short-term stays where residents receive all meals,

laundry and services at favourable rates to be in the company of peers and enjoy the activities on offer.
