Ekurhuleni dispatches more vehicles for waste management
Customers who have not had their waste removed can contact the City on 0860 54 3000.
To deal with a waste collection backlog, the City of Ekurhuleni has deployed more vehicles.

CoE Spokesperson Zweli Dlamini said the additional vehicles will supplement those supplied by service providers contracted to the city.
He said they were deployed to speedily address challenges experienced across the city.
“The city urges customers who have not had their waste removed as per the collection schedule to report such to the call centre on 0860 54 3000,” said Dlamini.
He said CoE will provide updates to residents as and when there are new developments in resolving the backlogs.
