Local learners enjoy fun and games

The Mumpy toys were made specially for the learners by the womean who work in partnership with Tweak.

Women from Modderfontein-based Tweak Fashion NPC recently paid a visit to Pebbles Nursey School where they interacted with learners.

The team put together a programme of games and worship songs for the 20 children at the Primrose-based school.

Each child received a Mumpy, which is a comfort toy, to take home. Mumpy is made from recycled material and filled with virgin ball fibre.

The Mumpy toys were made especially for the learners by the woman who works in partnership with Tweak.

Founder of the organisation Justine Engelbrecht thanked the sponsors who made the event possible.

Tweak, with the help of the community and its sponsors, donated 180 Mumpy toys to LSEN Ithembelihle School in December.
