Join Little Eden Society for fundraiser at Modderfontein Golf Club

Golf enthusiasts and community members are encouraged to mark their calendars and join the Little Eden Society for a day of golfing fun.

The society’s annual fundraiser will be at the Modderfontein Golf Club on November 2.

The fun-filled day will be one of camaraderie and offer the chance to make a lasting difference in the lives of individuals living with profound intellectual disabilities.

Golfers and residents from surrounding areas can participate in this event. The organisers hope it will be an exceptional day on the greens with the chance to win a R100 000 prize.

Participants must get a hole-in-one on the ninth hole to win the prize.

According to the public relations and communications co-ordinator of Little Eden, Gaahele Mokgoro, the golf day is more than a sporting event.

The event is vital to raise funds that directly support the organisation’s mission of providing lifelong care and support to 300 children and adults living with intellectual disabilities.

Additionally, the event is a platform for networking, building valuable community relationships, and promoting social responsibility in the community.

Besides inviting the community to participate, sponsors are encouraged to support the society and help to make the day a success.

Sponsorship opportunities include:

• Platinum sponsor for holes one, nine, 11 and 18.

It includes a four-ball entry, halfway vouchers, a prize-giving dinner, a surcharge, tee box branding, activation rights and more.

It costs R10 000.

• Gold sponsor for holes three, six, 14 and 16.

It includes halfway vouchers, prize-giving dinner, surcharge, tee box branding, activation rights and more.
It will cost R8 000.

• Silver sponsor for holes two, four, five, seven, eight, 10, 12, 13, 15 and 17.
