Man struck by hammer dies

He was attacked at Longmeadow Business Estate by a man believed to be an employee.

The Sebenza SAPS opened a case of murder after a man was killed at Longmeadow Business Estate.

Sebenza SAPS’ communications officer Sergeant Sharon Tsotsotso said the man was killed on September 19 after he was struck with a hammer on the head.

“It’s believed the victim and the suspect, an employee, were allegedly involved in an argument before the victim was struck,” said Tsotsotso.

“The suspect is believed to be on the run,” said Tsotsotso.

She said the victim’s next of kin were informed of his death.
