Brothers sentenced to two years for Greenstone robbery
According to police, the duo had been robbing victims of their cell phones in the Edenvale area.

Two brothers have been sentenced to two years’ direct imprisonment after they were found guilty of robbery last month.
Happy (23) and Tumelo (21) Ngobese were sentenced at Edenvale Magistrate’s Court on October 15 after their arrest in the Greenstone area.
Both were declared unfit to possess firearms.
The conviction was secured by Edenvale SAPS Detective W/O Geoff de Beer.

According to police, the duo had been robbing victims of their cellphones in the Edenvale area.
Edenvale SAPS stated that on the day of their arrest, the duo targeted a female shopper in the basement parking in one of the shopping centres located in Greenstone.
While the shopper was loading items into her vehicle, the Ngobese brothers approached her and took her handbag, which contained an undisclosed amount of money and her phone.
Security personnel responded, and a chase ensued before the two men were apprehended. They were arrested and detained by Edenvale SAPS.
With the festive season fast approaching, the police appealed to the community to remain vigilant in their surroundings while shopping.
