Local learners excel in knockout challenge
JvW faced off against the University of Johannesburg in the final but narrowly missed victory when they lost 0 – 1.
Tanna Hollis (Grade 12) and Tatum Labuschagne (Grade 11) from Edenvale High School represented JvW Football Club in the Engen Knockout Challenge.
Played over the school holidays, the team excelled making it to the finals after it won a penalty shootout against Mamlodi Sundowns.

In a showcase of women’s football, JvW faced off against the University of Johannesburg in the final but narrowly lost 1-0.
