Edenvale SAPS bids their member farewell

Edenvale SAPS bid farewell to one of its members as Warrant Officer Maborala welcomed his retirement.
Warrant Officer Jacob Mashile, communications officer for Edenvale Police Station, said the station and its members bid farewell to Maborala on October 27 after he retired on September 31.
Acting station commander for Edenvale Police Station Lieutenant Colonel Lionel Chetty, encouraged new retirees to continue their daily routines.

This included waking up early and embarking on activities which will keep them healthy, young and fit.
He further expressed his best wishes for Maborala and thanked him for his impeccable service to the SAPS.
“You were one of our best in the organisation.
“Your dedication to serve was unwavering and your outstanding work will remain on record in the SAPS forever.
“You have run your race, now it is time for you to go and rest,” said Chetty.
“As an acting station commander, I wish you all the best as you embark on another chapter of your life,” said Chetty.
Mashile said they presented a certificate to Maborala.
“As Maborala’s profile was read, they handed him a certificate as a token of appreciation for his outstanding service throughout the years in the SAPS,” said Mashile.
He said Edenvale SAPS management and staff of Edenvale SAPS thanked all stakeholders and those involved to ensure the farewell party was a success.
