Local businesses shower Better Bedfordview with sweet treats

Two local businesses contributed towards Better Bedfordview’s year-end function.

Better Bedfordview has extended its heartfelt appreciation to two local businesses that contributed to the NPO’s year-end function for its clean-up team.

The organisation is committed to restoring and maintaining the suburb.

RocoMamas stepped up by sponsoring a delicious year-end lunch.

The NPO has hired 24 previously unemployed people in the organisation’s clean-up team.

“We are grateful to Costa Carastavrakis and RocoMamas Bedfordview for sponsoring this unforgettable event.

“It was fuelling our team’s energy and helping to demonstrate the community’s appreciation of all their hard work during the year.

“Support like this is vital to our ongoing efforts to keep making Bedfordview better to benefit all,” said the chairperson Marina Constas.

In addition to the RocoMamas support, Krispy Kreme donated boxes of doughnuts to the clean-up crew members to take home to their families.

“This thoughtful gesture from Krispy Kreme and caring managing director Gerry Thomas really sweetened our year-end celebration.

“It was heart-warming to see the smiles it brought to the faces of those who have worked tirelessly this year to clean up and restore our area’s roads, parks, pavements and public places to a standard the community can once again be proud of, safely use and enjoy,” stated Constas.
