Local NPO to host Mother’s Day event on May 11

The NPO Brainy Birds Parrot Rescue and Rehabilitation will host a Mother’s Day event for the community.

Set for May 11, the event hopes to treat moms to a day out and raise funds for the NPO.

Entrance to the event will be free, and a variety of stalls will offer food, beverages, baked goods, plants, art and more.

Other activities that will be available include dot art (R100 per person), cupcake decorating (R50 per person) and beer tasting (R150 per person).
