Bedfordview Primary excels at mini netball tournament

Bedfordview Primary School’s Grade One/U7 and Grade Two/U8 mini netball and mini soccer teams proved their mettle at the Mondeor Primary School Mini Tournament, held at the Brabazon Sports Complex in Mondeor, earlier this month.
The Bedfordview Primary School Grade Two/U8 girls mimicked the form of the SPAR Baby Proteas, going undefeated in the mini netball tournament and securing the gold and winner’s trophy.

Bedfordview’s Grade One/U7 netball team achieved a stellar second place, taking home a silver medal in their first tournament.

The soccer teams enjoyed a closely contested tournament with the Grade One/U7 Bedfordview mini soccer boys achieving a silver medal, while the Grade Two/U8 mini soccer team put in a valiant effort and achieved a respectable fourth.
All of the participants were re-awarded their medals and trophies at the end-of-term assembly held at the school on June 12.
The Bedfordview Primary School coaches and parents were proud of all of the pupils who took part in the tournament and ensured the school was well represented.
