SAPS searches Edenglen High School
“Various stakeholders addressed the learners on issues pertaining to crime.”
No illegal items or substances were found at Edenglen High School after the Edenvale SAPS and stakeholders searched the school.
On July 24, the entities conducted a Safer Schools awareness campaign at the school.
The Edenvale SAPS communication officer, Warrant Officer Mashile, said Iron Hide security company, crime prevention wardens and the NPO You Are Not Alone supported the police.

“Various stakeholders addressed the learners on issues pertaining to crime.”
Mashile said it was a clean search.
“The school management thanked all the role players who took part in the search and welcomed the initiative,” said Mashile.
