Police address social ills with learners of Eastleigh Primary

"Learners were addressed by various stakeholders on issues related to to crime, mental well-being and bullying."

Edenvale SAPS, joined by community stakeholders, recently made an unannounced visit to Eastleigh Primary School on October 29.

Warrant Officer Jacob Mashile said, “Learners were addressed by various stakeholders on issues related to crime, mental well-being and bullying.”

The following role players took part in the initiative: Edenvale SAPS Vispol commander Lieutenant Colonel Lionel Chetty as the senior officer, Pastor Ndumela Thato, Precious from DSD Germiston, representatives from NPO You Are Not Alone, Edenvale SAPS social crime prevention coordinator, liquor officer and communications officer as well as Liberty.
