Christmas Market brings smiles to Elphin Lodge

Residents and attendees alike enjoyed the beautiful weather and the opportunity to socialise and support local artisans.

Elphin Lodge retirement village recently hosted a successful festive-themed craft market that drew a large crowd of Rand Aid residents and families.

Held on November 23, the market showcased a wide array of handcrafted items created by Elphin Lodge residents and external vendors.

The market featured a diverse selection of products.

This included artwork; items handcrafted by members of the Men’s Shed; art club and garden club; and delectable baked goods.

Complimenting the shopping experience, various food stalls were set up, offering a variety of culinary delights.

The market showcased the talents of the residents but also fostered a sense of community.

A highlight of the event was the November 2024 Jokers Jackpot draw, which added to the excitement.
Sadly, no one won and the prize money has rolled over.
